System Requirements

Minimum Hardware Requirements:

1. Pentium III 800Mhz or higher (server configuration)
2. 256 MB RAM
3. 30 GB Hard Drive
4. Internet Connection

Minimum Software Requirements:

1. Windows 2000/XP or Linux
2. Relational Database Engine
   WebTELUS can connect to any database. By default, we use MySQL because it is free of charge. However, if your organization is already using other database software (such as SQL Server, Oracle, MSAccess), WebTELUS can interface with those databases as well.
3. Formula One E-Reporting Engine
   This software package is required for building and publishing reports on the Web. It needs to be obtained and installed on the web server by the user. General cost of the software platform required to generate reports in WebTELUS includes one-time purchase charge of $6,000 (which includes 25% discount for WebTELUS users) and additional fee of $1,000 for annual support. 4. ArcIMS 4 or higher
   ArcIMS provides dynamic GIS and mapping capabilities via the Web. It is required for WebTELUS interactive GIS. If your organization does not have a user license for ArcIMS it needs to purchase it. You will need to install the ArcIMS engine on your web server to host WebTELUS website. For sales and product information please contact the vendor, ESRI, http://www.esri.com. General price for the ArcIMS platform required to support WebTELUS GIS is in the range of $10,000-$12,000 depending on the type of license selected by the user. There is no annual support fee for the ArcIMS license.
